The Simple Woman's Daybook

I found this on a blog and thought it was interesting...and soothing...

FOR TODAY: 1/17/10

Outside my window...there's gentle rain.

I am thinking...I feel melancholy.

I am thankful for...God's provision.

From the kitchen...I smell green beans cooking.

I am wearing...a "Life is Good" sweatshirt.

I am creating...a new life with my husband :)

I am going...where ever God wants to take me.

I am reading...about spiritual disciplines.

I am hoping...to continue healing.

I am hearing...my dog barking in the rain.

Around the house...it's crazy. My niece, two great nieces, and great nephew are moving in. My husband is "temporarily" living in Florida. So, everything, is in disarray.

One of my favorite things...is Mercy. (my cats name, well, and Mercy)

A few plans for the rest of the week...to work; see my husband, and, hopefully, see my step-children, and my grandchildren.
