Sharing Moments of Faith, Food, Family, and Fodder
Do you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God. You are not your own. You were bought for a price. Therefore, honor God with your body. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Beets
Does anybody have a good recipe for beets? I don't really like sweet, but I'll try whatever.
They are good roasted, in foil packs at 400 degrees for about an hour, depending on the size of your beets. (when they are soft to the fork) Cut the tops off before you put them in foil, add some olive oil, rosemary, salt, pepper and fresh garlic. Once cooked, peel, slice in 1/4 inch chunks and all some more rosemary, parsley in a little olive oil. Drizzle over roasted beets. They are naturally sweet prepared this way, so you may not like them. They are also good with a tarragon flavoured oil, fresh tarragon and dijon mustard. Experiment with spices, but I only like them roasted.
